Senior Fair State Rep Nick Micozzie Sept 30, 2013

State Representative Nick Micozzie will host his annual Senior Expo on Monday September 30, 2013 at Drexelbrook, 4700 Drexelbrook Drive, Drexel Hill PA 19026. The event will be held from 9:30am to 1pm. All seniors and adult children are encouraged to attend to meet representatives from county agencies and senior companies such as Comfort Keepers, providers of in-home senior care services such as showering, assistance to bathroom, meal preparation, light housekeeping, laundry, incidental transportation to doctor appointments and grocery shopping and much more! Comfort Keepers is a proud provider of in-home services for COSA, the County Office Services for the Aging and some Veterans Programs. On May 1, 2013, Delaware County Council will host their annual Centenarian Luncheon. This will be the 11th year for this event and is always one of the highlights of the year. Anyone turning 100 or older in 2013 is welcome to attend this luncheon at the Drexelbrook Banquet Center. Last year, we had 43 centenarians attend the luncheon and staff of the Delaware County Off…ice of Services for the Aging-COSA-visited 21 additional centenarians in the community. Centenarians and one guest are admitted for free. Additional guests may purchase tickets for $25.00 each. Guests also receive a commemorative photo from the day along with a special proclamation from Delaware County Council. The organization or facility that brings the most centenarians to the luncheon will receive a prize.
